MISSIONS AND MINISTRY

The mission of the United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Missions and Ministry
at Chestnut Grove

Our church is committed to sharing the good news of God’s salvation in Christ with everyone. Our Missions and Ministries program extends from our local community to nursing homes to missionaries around the world.  Youth and adults of the church have participated in the annual week-long area work camp and occasional day missions. We support many local organizations through our “Second Mile” giving.

Pioneer Team

Purpose of this Team: To reach our neighbors with the Good News of Jesus Christ by developing and maximizing the faith-sharing potential of existing and proposed ministries and missions.

 Music Ministry

If you would like to use your musical gift to praise the Lord, you are welcome to sing with the choir.  Our choir has begun rehearsing for our Christmas cantata on Sundays in the sanctuary immediately after worship service.

We also have a team of folks who lead us in more contemporary music each Sunday.  If you are interested in help us lead our contemporary music, you will have to speak to our Music Director for more information about auditioning.

For more information, see Laurie or call the office and leave a message.
